RPTE’s Top Three

Lindsay WilburnMeet our leader and Editor in Chief, Lindsay Wilburn! Lindsay attended Sewanee: The University of the South, where she interned for the Honorable Judy McMahon, Family Court Judge in the Charleston, South Carolina. Before taking on the full time job of Editor in Chief, Lindsay worked as a law clerk for Ellis, Painter, Ratterree & Adams, LLP. Upon graduation, Lindsay will sit for the South Carolina Bar Exam before returning to Ellis, Painter, Ratterree & Adams, LLP to practice transactional work, including estate planning.

 

Emily WashburnWorking closely with Lindsay is Emily Washburn, our manager and Associate Editor in Chief! While attending the University of South Carolina for her undergraduate studies, Emily worked as a Senate Intern for the Honorable Kay Hagan and for the Honorable Richard Burr, both of the United States Senate. Emily graduated cum laude from the University of South Carolina before continuing on to the School of Law. In addition to being AEIC, Emily works as a law clerk for Parker, Poe, Adams, & Bernstein. Upon graduation, Emily will sit for the South Carolina Bar Exam and return to work for Parker, Poe, Adams, & Bernstein.

 

Melonie LangdonCompleting the trio is Melonie Langdon, our teacher and Staff Development Editor! Before attending the College of Charleston, Melonie worked as a New York State Court Officer for the Rensselaer County Family Court. Since graduating magna cum laude and starting at the School of Law, Melonie has worked as an intern for the Honorable Margaret B. Seymour Senior District Court Judge for the District of South Carolina, and currently works as a Research Assistant for Professor Medlin and as a Law Clerk for the South Carolina House of Representatives Ethics Committee in addition to being Staff Development Editor. Upon graduation, Melonie will sit for the South Carolina Bar Exam in July before serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Joseph F. Anderson, Jr., Senior District Court Judge for the District of South Carolina.
