This year marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of the United States Supreme Court’s decision in Lucas v. South Carolina Coastal Council.  To commemorate the anniversary of this landmark case and to consider the effect of Lucas on regulatory takings and coastal property management, the ABA Real Property, Trust & Estate Law Journal is hosting a symposium at the University of South Carolina School of Law.
